About Me...

Untitled design.png

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.

-Carl Jung

If you’ve been carrying something for a long time – something you haven’t been able to make sense of—or you’re trying to understand why you’ve felt this way for so long, you’re in the right place. Through years of introspective work, I’ve learned a lot about myself and in the process, developed a path to help other’s dive deeper. I know what trauma feels like and when it shows up in the room, I’m not guessing— I meet you where you are, with both understanding and intention. I know how dysregulating it can be—how it can take over, wear you down, leaving you feeling stuck or shut down. My approach to trauma integrates relational, scientific and somatic perspectives. I work directly with the nervous system and what shows up in the body, because trauma isn’t just about what we’ve experienced—it’s about what we’ve felt. It lives in the body. So that’s where we begin—with awareness, regulation, and building from there.

Some examples of those I’ve worked with are men and women from all walks of life, specifically but not limited to: Adult children of emotionally immature or emotionally neglectful households, Helping Professionals (Therapists), Entrepreneurs/Business Owners, First Responders (LEO, EMT, Paramedics, Fire Services), and Medical Professionals (RNs, APPs, MDs).

While trauma work is a passion of mine, it’s not the whole story. I also support individuals who feel stretched between their personal and professional lives, or who sense they’re ready for more—more balance, more growth, more connection with themselves. Together, we explore the parts of you that may have been pushed aside, moving through a process of reflection, integration, and even celebration. Think of this as a deep dive into the depths of you, your soul, and what all that means. We’re not holding back here, we are getting nitty gritty with all the details!

This work extends into relationships as well. I work with couples navigating life transitions or seeking deeper connection and understanding. Together, we look at patterns, communication, and the dynamics between self, family, and partnership—getting honest about where things are and intentional about where they can go. It’s powerful to witness relationships grow and evolve in real time. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for taking the time to learn about what I do.

Some personal notes about me, I am a North Carolina native from Goldsboro. I am a wife and a mother who loves a good cup of coffee (or three). I LOVE animals and have my own little zoo at home (goats, chickens, a one-eyed pittie, mini devil (dachshund), and a sweet cuddly man of a cat. I enjoy trying new foods and exploring new places, and if I’m not working or at home and the weather’s nice, you can find me at the beach. I’m a spiritual gal (Capricorn) and enjoy a good astrological reading. I’m also neurodivergent (ADHD) and love a fun hyper focused hobby— usually painting or something creative and then dropping that for a few months to come back to it eventually—IYKYK. I bring a laid-back personable approach to therapy. You cuss a little, great – because I let it rip myself. Therapy can be a place of meaningful work, which can be heavy at times, but it’s also a space to support our true authentic self. A big part of that is feeling relaxed and comfortable. I’m not afraid to be my authentic self in sessions. If we vibe, that’s awesome— and honestly, that’s kind of the whole point!
